Is it the right time now to discuss any chances of rapprochement between the EU and the Ukraine? I think it’s impossible while the key opposition leader of Ukraine, Yulia Timoshenko is staying in prison, bed-ridden and her body covered in large bruisers! She is undoubtedly being humiliated and maybe beaten up in prison.
The journalists are alarmed with the fact while the Brussels just expressed its "concern over the arrest of Timoshenko". You see, it looks like Brussels actually doesn’t bother much to put an end to those totalitarian manifestations in the Ukraine.
Now, I start to doubt the EU actually sticks to democratic way at all! As a Ukrainian and a democracy devotee I suspect that membership in such a European Union would be no good at all for my country.....
