Pat Robertson, religious lead, said: "I know it sounds cruel, but if he's going to do something, he should divorce her and start all over again, but make sure she has custodial care and somebody looking after her," while taking about a man who asked for advice on what to do about his wife who had developed Alzheimer's Disease.

He later followed that up saying that the divorce is okay because Alzheimer's is a type of death. What kind of backlash can Pat Robertson expect from this?

Thanks for posting this. I knew right-wingers (in general) are total hypocrites when they talk about being a Patriotic group, but will slash & burn the Constitution in a heartbeat whenever it suits them. But with this idea of Pat Robertson (divorce a wife with Alzheimer's) it only proves that they are total hypocrites when it comes to Religion, also. Every religion I have heard of, says a wedding vow is FOREVER, "to love and to cherish, for richer or poorer, IN SICKNESS & IN HEALTH, as long as we both shall live." This Robertson creep thinks he is a minister of GOD?  Boy I can't wait to see the look on his face on Judgment Day.
