Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida says we shouldn't pay college athletes a salary but a stipend. He says that while a athlete finishes a game, making their respective schools $1 million plus, they sometimes don't even have the money to eat a 5 buck meal at MacDonalds. I've heard this argument several times before. But the truth is, they get a full ride for school, worth tens of thousands, media attention, and a stage to prove themselves for a potential career in the pros. A stipen on top of that? Really? What does everyone think of about this?
