Scott Brown, Mass. Senator, is running for re-election next year. It really doesn't seem like he will have much competition, unless Elizabeth Warren decides to run as well. Then, it could be interesting. She seems to have a strong record of being honest, trustworthy and very competent. While Brown's image is starting to decline. He's under criticism for a number of things; being caught begging David Koch for money, on the fence over gay marriage, refusing to do the It Gets Better Campaign.

What do you think? If Warren were to run, could she beat Brown?

Elizabeth Warren would certainly be a formidable candidate against Scott Brown if they only ran on the issues.  But the Republican Party can be ruthless in campaigns such as this and will use every dirty trick in the book to retain Scott Brown's seat.  If she decides to run, the smear campaign will begin immediately...first impressions stick. Honesty will take a back seat.

Elizabeth Warren knows this...and because of that she may decide to not run.  That's too bad.

Outside of the armed forces, this nation has no greater patriot than Elizabeth Warren.  She is an icon and a saint.  An American of the highest order.....a fair play advocate in a town ruled by pigs.  She's one of the last heroes in politics we truly have left....and her treatment in Congress by the Republicans was absolutely sickening.  Warren is a champion for common decency and one hell of a weapon in our Arsenal for Democracy.
