News of the World phone-hacking whistleblower found dead
The plot thickens in the UK.
"Sean Hoare, the former News of the World showbiz reporter who was the first named journalist to allege Andy Coulson was aware of phone hacking by his staff, has been found dead, the Guardian has learned."
The Guardian article quotes Sean Hoare and his disclosures to the New York Times about how the hacking was carried out and also the use of police technology by news of the World reporters to locate "targets" by "pinging" their cell phones.
It's all intriguing...a suspense novel in the making.

A suspense novel, indeed. I do hope though that people don't confuse reality with great storytelling. This actually happened. Scary thought. I guess I'm just saying that people have a tendency to experience a disconnect, especially in news when the story is particularly juicy.
