James Murdoch, Rupert Murdoch's son and apparent heir to the throne of News Corp., claims to have not known anything at all about the ongoing phone hacking scandal in the UK with their newspaper, "News of the World". You believe him? Or is this just more of the same BS that his dad has been feeding us for years?

I don't know if James Murdoch is "just as bad as his dad." But Rupert Murdoch's daughter, Elisabeth, doesn't have a high opinion of James. The
Guardian newspaper reports
(July 16th) that she said her brother James had "fucked the company".
Murdoch's biographer, Michael Wolff states: "What we are seeing is an enormous amount of frustration. James absolutely cannot survive. Whether or not he is legally culpable, he certainly mishandled this entire situation and has done for a long period of time."
With Rupert Murdoch being 80 years old, his son James was being groomed as the heir apparent to his "throne." If James is convicted, I don't think he would be allowed to take over the leadership of Fox News...or the New York Post...or the Wall Street Journal. But then Fox News and his other media outlets will certainly do damage control and shift the blame to the "liberal media." And you know what...it just might work. When the Fox News audience is absorbed by their cognitive biases, they cannot comprehend anything that goes against that thinking. Just look how many still believe Saddam Hussein was responsible for 9/11 or that he had WMDs. They just cannot let go. That's the power of the right wing media.
