Rupert Murdoch is a media tycoon. He owns a LOT when it comes to news dissemination. News Corp is his company, which is the second largest media conglomerate in the world, spanning: Fox News Channel, The New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, News of the World, just to name a few of the big ones.
With the recent scandal in the UK with the hacking of phones and personal info of several citizens, some famous, some not, his News of the World newspaper is being shut down.
My question is how corrupt is this guy?? I have always had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach thinking about how one man owns so much media power. And, everyone knows Fox News is a joke. So, what do you think? Is this kind of stuff happening throughout all of his companies? How corrupt is this guy?

As the investigation unfolds in the UK about buying off police officers, the question is: How high in the organization does the corruption go? And was Rupert Murdoch aware of it?
With Rebekah Brooks being arrested today, will she be the ultimate scapegoat to protect James and Rupert?
From what I have read about Rupert Murdoch, he had influence in high places. As
this Guardian article
attests: "Britain's politicians have reacted to Murdoch's troubles like medieval villagers realising that God may not exist."
Power corrupts...and his influence both in the UK and USA is astounding. I just don't know why he hasn't been brought out on the carpet sooner. And while Britain has the phone hacking scandal, we have the James O'Keefe manufactured scandals and lies and such. Rupert Murdoch and his Fox News cronies should answer for them.
Ultimately I take satisfaction that Rupert and James Murdoch will get their days in court. And at least in the UK, they won't be treated so kindly.
