Hello Everyone,

I have been mostly quiet on the forums so far while working on the website. Going forward, we will have more regular communications and new guides and pages explaining and showing all the things you can do on the site.

Today (6/9/2011) was another big milestone as we released a sneak peek of our new website version and logo. We plan on making a lot more user interface improvements and releasing a completed version of the new website design by the end of summer.

This past year we've been focused mostly on behind the scenes architecture work on the website. We've gotten most of that done and so now plan on improving the entire user experience.

So in the next few months I will be regularly updating on improvements and new features that affect users including a new moderation system, better ways to add\edit posts as well as share other information. We'll also make the profiles and messaging a lot better.

To celebrate, I'll be leaving for Netroots Nation 2011 where we will be promoting the website and hopefully building some excitement for the future.

Thanks for everyone who has signed up, told their friends and/or posted in the forums. We'll continue to work hard to build the best advanced liberal political community we can for you! And you'll be hearing a lot more from us going forward as we hope to build this into an active and valuable community.
