Well....we've reached the end of the line for Congressman Weiner. He has got to go! And any Democrat who says otherwise ought to have their head examined. This is a situation getting worse by the minute. F#$% him...throw him under the bus, drive over him, and then do it again.
This is no way for a Congressman to behave. He ought to resign, NOW!

I can't believe he did it! I loved Anthony Weiner. I feel betrayed, disgusted, and incredibly angry. This guy is a creep. Pelosi, Slaughter, and Sebelius should publicly castrate him along with John Edwards. And don't get me started about Bill Clinton! Let's just say that Hillary is no feminist in my book.

Weiner handed the rightwing "Mean boys" of Breitbart & Co. a major p.r. victory. Instead of the Congressman's star ascending, it's now Brietbart's. What a stupid turn of events! This guy had the world in his hand and he wrecked everything. This is a disaster for Democrats.
Weiner was a unity figure in our party. He had appeal across the board. And now his lewd behavior and lies have cost us big during one of the most pivotal moments in our lifetimes. F$%# him. He's done. Throw him away. I ain't got room for that kind of bullshit.

Another penis takes down the man! How many more is there out there? I have probably a more 'liberal' approach to this type of crucifiction than what I've read. I don't invest in any interest to see the body parts of either gender. BUT--- how many woman have we seen on tv with their breasts exposed by cleavage? I don't consider that appropriate? What's the difference in men showing the image of their penis behind their underwear and women's breasts being held inside their blouse by the nipples?
I saw a couple pictured on tv like this: The man had on a tuxedo with buttoned up shirt and tie, and the woman had on a strapless dress melted to her body with full cleavage. I think that's a good example of our double standard.

I consider Anthony Weiner an excellent representative. I would vote for him if I could. I also think there is many more men screaming about this man getting caught than there are women. It seems there is too much protesting.

sorry about your view on Wiener, although I disagree with what he did to his wife I also have to say thatpart of the proble, especially here in the USA is that we tend to hold out elected officials high with the belief that they do not wrong. It is something that goes on quite a bit in the USA, we tend to forget that they are elected officials but first they are human and not many people that I know if any, are without flaws, as long as we keep believing this we will have these kinds of discussions and get the attitude that "We are oly as good as our last act. I listend to Chris Mathews tonight and he suprised me by saying he doesn't know anything about this "Sexting" stuff. He seems to think that the old days were better I agree with that in some aspects but I also believe that we need to keep up with the times, I am in my mid fifties and remember days when one could take a girl to the fountain store and get a burer and an ice cream soda, and watch a movie for 10 cents, those days are over, anyone who don't keep up with the times will continue to live in the past and will be lost in "translation" I gues the short of it is that in the case of Wienergate" it is up to his wife and maker first and then it is up to us to decide his politacal future, the partisan influence is also a problem but that is a different subject. I do apreciate your comment and your right to express your feelings because my persona allows me to do so without prejudice as I hope that many also do so..fred...

As a former BIG fan of Weiner, I am terribly disappointed and embarrassed! Why would he flush his career down the toilet like this?!? I am shocked at the incredible stupidity he displayed! What is wrong with men? Why do they do such useless and destructive things like this? incredibly

Considering what just happened to Rep. Chris Lee....Weiner's actions are just monumentally stupid.

Look, I don't think pols should be forced to resign for cheating on their wives. It's the lieing, the nature of the affair, and the ethics violations that accompany it.
Weiner was lying about "Sexting" with twenty somethings and porn stars. It's bizarre and creapy. And he handled it like a weasel.
He's done. He should resign.

What politician has never been caught or isn't hiding something underneath the bed, the man is symptomatic of the illness of power in Washington. I respected him immensely and his passion was something I aspired to, as I do eventually plan on changing my major to political science to run for my homestate. But I honestly could care less about his personal affairs, I still see his ardent battles against the neocons and still see him as inspirational. Fuck Breitbart as well

I don't think anything happened to Chris Lee, Kaboom, he just quit because he didn't want to face anything happening. Weiner underestimated the vulnerability of posting on Twitter, as did Lee. I would say it's a 'Guy' thing, and leave you wondering if I mean the posting or the underestimation. I do believe it's the latter. Nothing is private in this new technological era. That was both of their mistakes. Nothing is ever private when it involves someone outside of ourself.

Weiner is a small man with a big nose and a big penis. (I'm just going by what has been said. I have no desire to look at the picture.)
He attempts to compensate for that smallness with a big voice in Congress. So, do we want to keep the value of his floor presentations on important issues for the nation? Or, do we want to hang him for lying about the display of his penis? I, personally, have no qualms about what he has done in his private times with his private parts. Maybe Brietbart's problem is jealousy. We could call for a picture.

I think Breitbart did what he did because he knows the holier than thou attitude that exists when someone else gets caught. But, who knows? Maybe he got some kind of charge out of that picture that he obviously carries around with him, or maybe he's just jealous.

Look, the Republicans are total loons. As Maddow said on Letterman, Vitter, Ensign, Sanford, and a host of other scandalous creeps have been caught doing worse.....and Republicans did not speak out as loudly as the Democrats have for Weiner's resignation.

I'd say carrying on for years with online "sexting" relationships constitutes an abuse of office. Citizens should be upset. How does a busy Congressman have time for this? And he was using his official position and taxpayer provided communication devices to contact women for sexually-natured personal pleasure.
These women might have been consenting adults, but they're attraction and attention to Anthony Weiner is a result of the power that he holds as a result of his constituents' former trust. I do not like this behavior in elected officials. It is abusive. I had a profound and deep, nearly mystical admiration for the Congressman. On his back went the hopes of millions of Democrats. He was a unity point in the party. He linked the anti-Obama progressive-left w/ liberal-centrists. That linkage is now in ruins. I, we have all been abused.
And Obama by default in 2012 just got a little narrower.

Message to my fellow Democrats, liberals, & progressives: Stop defending Weiner! Barbara Walters is nuts! This is a sick and depraved society. Anthony is unfit to serve his constituents. He obviously has problems that are not going to be fixed by staying in office. And he did commit an ethics violation in using taxpayer provided communication devices to ilicitly contact women for personal reasons.

I stood by Weiner until he confessed, and I don't like being decieved. Like Bill Clinton, Anthony Weiner burned me.

I Believe this Idiot needs to GO!, He needed to keep his private life private it's that simple, If he is willing to lie to America and his constitutes that it's not him and his account was hacked the he is willing to lie about anything.

He did not give a damn about his wife and family what the hell makes his supporters believe he gives a damn about them and the job he was elected for?

I really doubt during his campaign he stated..If I am elected I will get married disrespect my wife send inappropriate pictures to woman and if I get caught I will lie and hope you are stupid enough to believe me.

Wake up people if it were you that was screwed over and humiliated by him like his wife and his Constitutes then you would be singing a different tune.
