Been watching/following this since it started. Not sure if I should be happy or fearful yet to tell you the truth. Egypt IS a more or less benign dictatorship in that region. When you consider what COULD replace the current leadership........ and today the big story (to me at least) was the "Islam Brotherhood's" inclusion in the anti government coalition. We (the entire world) do not need another Talibanish state. I feel for the average citizen there but..... are they getting ready to install a much more repressive state in the name of change? Every time you get a religious party RULING a nation...... well haha.... evryone knows how I feel about that :).

Don't let me be misconstrued about this..... I support the Egyptian people in their quest for democracy. Just a little concerned about the involvement of the fringes.

I agree with indianacarnie. It is hard to feel any jubilation unless you can be sure of the facts...and ultimately who/what government will replace Mubarak. It's a delicate situation. The Daily Telegraph has suggested secret US involvement.
