The US army is starting another form of discrimination. Or perhaps is not new, it's just new to me. The army is now making soldiers take an exam regarging information about their choice of religion when they are non-christian or don't want to share their beliefs and if they don't pass they have to go to counseling! This is incredibly wrong. I had a solider friend tell me as well that if they chose not to go to church that they would have to work and clean while the others were in church...

Come ON FREEDOM OF RELIGION. Our military is not exempt from that right!

I heard about this, too. It is discrimination. Freedom of religion and freedom FROM religion apply to all citizens, whether in the military or not. It's just one more instance of the religious trying to force their religion on other people.

As a veteran I can only say that if this is true it is a new thing. On the other hand, even while I was serving, if you did not attend church/chapel then you were liable for extra fatigue duty.
Maybe someday Humanity as a whole will grow up and not need superstitions to get through the day.

Lets see, Obama is the Commander in Chief, so I guess this would be his doing/responsibility No negative comments in that regard?
