Palin was again asked who/what she reads to keep up with the news.  Remember the first time?

This time her answer was Newsmax and the WSJ.

As we all know, Newsmax is just like Fox, highly biased to the far right.  WSJ is now owned by Murdoch, and is becoming increasingly right wing.

Do you think she is just ignorant or she is smart?

Well, in my opinion ignorant AND not very bright either.
At least she didnt say the National Enquirer! :)

Even righties are coming to grips with it:

While Newsmas is a right wing magazine, The Wall Street Journal does provide a valuble resource in the world of business for all. I don't think she's stupid for reading that. I've never read Newsmax but have heard it advertised and it seems to be to the political right. Is that all she says she read? I heard she said she read the New Yorker and Time...I guess as a woman, I don't want to paint any other woman stupid.Let's face it, many of us just read US, People or O. Hardly groundbreaking material.

Good point. What she says she reads does give us some indication about her intelligence, but not much. I've watched Fox News for hours, but I am no Republican. She could just be keeping tabs with her constituents. That's pretty smart of her. But, no, I don't think she's really smart, just charismatic and good with deflection and generalized debating.
