This upcoming Wednesday, The Supreme Court is flirting with an immigration law in Arizona, not the infamous SB1070, but one similar. This law allows Arizona to sanction employers for hiring immigrants. This law has only been used a couple of times in the past few years but it is creating a base for the Obama Administration to call the law unconstitutional. They are saying that only the federal government has the right to enforce immigration laws. This ruling will take a while to be made, but once it does it will affect SB1070 and a few other laws in other states that followed suite.
What do you think will happen and why?
