Something I've been thinking about recently is why did Sarah Palin not fade off after the last presidentary elections?
Well, I would have to blame this on our society as a whole. The same society that loves reality tv and gets involved in drama. And well me for even writing this post, as ingenious of a thought as it is.
She never faded out because we wouldn't let her. We stay glued to everything she says and want to know what stupid, silly, unthought out thing she will do or say next is. Anyone remember that website that when you clicked on different areas of the oval office it showed stupid things she said?
Recently she screwed up by saying that the US and North Korea were allies. Soon after, many posts were put up on the mistake. This
article
, sugggests that "Sarah Palin is now so consumed with every real or imagined media wrong against her that she’s to the point where she’s attacking the press for stuff they don’t even do." It also points out the number of large media's that did not pick up the mistake.
I beleive Sarah Palin has caught on that every little mistake she makes is put out in the media and draws that attention back to her. Otherwise, why wouldn't she just give up and crawl into a ball? After all, all media attention is good attention right?

That's a good point. She's like a child... She doesn't care if people are telling her what she is doing is wrong, as long as people know she exists.

I agree, it's like watching a train wreck. Can't really look away.
What really bothers me is her following. Most of her following can't seem to spit back out Palin policies despite liking her so much. And I'm not talking about people who say "Yeah, I like Palin and I think she can do good things for our country." There are people on both sides of the aisle that favor a party but really don't know policies because they really don't keep up with politics. I'm talking about the hardcore people who attend all the book signings and and rallies and claim that Palin will deliver us to salvation or something. These people don't know what Palin's policies are.
It's seems like their train of thought is something like: "I like Sarah Palin. She is just like me, and I like me." "If I like her she must be good for country." "Lets put her in public office!!!"
Sadly this train of thought doesn't include ask "how would she be good for the country." or "what she could do for the country." Instead she just keeps talking and and people keep watching the train wreck.

Looking back she's not the first republican to not know what she is saying as of late just thinking of the last 5 republican are a clear example of this. I can only hope Sarah shows just who she is before the 2012 elections it is VERY doubtful the republicans would see anything wrong abot her only after it's too late. Look at the current war we are in that to is started by a republican looking for weapons of mass destruction.

Well it seems that the latest polls show that 60% of people think she isn't qualified to be President. When you count the people that are on the fence and those who don't care into the other 40%, that doesn't leave a lot of voters to get her elected. I doubt that she could hold her own in a presidential debate, even against a moderately competent person. I honestly don't see her making it past the Republican Primaries.
There is always the option that she will not run under the GOP banner but instead, as a Tea Party Presidential Candidate. I can only picture good things if that happens. Especially if the GOP fields a candidate as well,

Hey she's a good looking woman who's 15 minutes of fame never flamed out(but hopefully it will as she knows not of which she speaks). But she's making a ton of money and I mean a ton of money in the process. Only in America.
