With the recent change of the guards, a question has arrisen as to who should develop and encourage the new emerging green energy of wind power. The democrats were willing to help wind power along and now the republicans seem to be leaving it completely to the private sector.  This seems to be happening in the form of wind projects losing funding where other areas such as coal will be gaining ground. This is happening because the republicans are looking at the size of the companies and the funding is being switched over to job creation.

This is another area that I am torn on. Obviously, job creation is good for the current economy. But is not encouraging wind power to cut down on the cost of energy important too?
