Several holidays from several religions are celebrated around the end of the year.  Should we really be so close-minded as to just wish people a Merry Christmas?  I know some people think it's stupid and a little extreme to change our universal salutation from Merry Christmas to Happy Holidays during the next month or so.

But, I'm thinking that it's more out of habit and silly tradition than anything else.  We grew up with it.  Some politicially correct changes are for the better.  What about all the Jews, Muslims, Atheists, etc.   They don't celebrate Christmas.  Let's not continue to alienate the minority just because most celebrate Christmas.  What do you think?  Does this bother anyone else?  Or is just a stupid saying that the media and extremists are focusing on to start a fight?
