All of the hosts of all of Fox News programs are Republican. The 3 most popular shows are hosted by Bill O'Reiley, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity. Republican, republican, republican. They spend all their time slamming democrats and defending republicans. Their tagline, Fair and Balanced, is a joke. And everyone knows it. So, why not admit it? What are they afraid of?

As a Fox News devotee, I see a plethora of diffident and different points of view expressed on a daily basis. One of the key points you fail to observe or mention, is the fact that not all of the reporters or opinion pundits on Fox are oriented toward a right wing viewpoint.
Greta VanSusteren and Shepard Smith are both registered Democrats and will admit to it if asked. A fair number of their reporters are Dems as well. Additionally, whenever Fox seeks to present a "debate" on a given issue, they will usually not do what all of the other networks do in putting forth some left-leaning Republican as a defender of the "other side." To do so, in my humble opinion, makes a mockery of the term, "contested views."
Fox, more often than not, will usually have two proponents of differing viewpoints on at the same time, both being very near to one another in their political objectivity -whether that is far left or far right. Most networks will give time to both viewpoints as well, the difference being that they will usually find some hard core Democrat or Democratic spokesperson and then put him/her up against a very lukewarm, Casper Milquetoast type of Conservative opponent. What one gets to hear from that point on, is a discussion whereby both parties are not that far apart ideologically, and the listener gets to hear mostly leftist-leaning rhetoric that helps them (the program or network) in seeking to further their own ideological bent.
Fox, on the other hand, will match up ideological equals, whether they are far-left/right, centrist oriented, or, more independent in their thinking. I have yet to see any other network do this to the extent Fox does. And while I cannot speak for anyone else but me, I tend to think of myself as a "fair" and "honest" person who would not readily accept any functioning news organization that labeled itself as being "fair and balanced," when just the opposite were true. Hence, the term "fair and balanced" - and just one of many reasons why I continue to believe they are. And why I continue to support their programming over those "other" news organizations that have forced me to re-examine their unfair and unbalanced reportage and skewed (read: biased) viewpoints on anything social or political.

One other thing: Bill O'Reilly is a registered Independent. You can find his political affiliation at a number of select websites around the internet if you wish further proof...
Yes, he does tend to lean pro-Republican on a variety of policial and social issues. He also, however, gives a very good accounting of those Democrats he firmly believes are in the political arena for the betterment of their constituency, and not just to further, or "feather" their own nests. You may not like that he doesn't do this as much as you would like him to,l but that doesn't change the fact that he has said many times that he believes there are good and bad people on BOTH sides of the political aisle. Were he a demogogue, like say, for instance, this Schultz character; he would only proffer a sole conservative viewpoint without any input from the more liberal spokespersons of society. Fortunately, this is not the case, and your criticism of him is biased, unsubstantiated, and unproven.
