Ho-hum.....

The former president's continued use of discredited evidence to justify his decision to torture detainees.....is a national disgrace. And salt on an open wound. And he calls himself a Christian? The religion of the Prince of Peace? We all find our excuses to do bad things I suppose....but just maybe...maybe, this man's life of privalege did not serve to ground him reality all that well?
He has brought shame to our military and charged thousands of brave souls with the impossible task of cleaning up his fucking mess......
Now he again defends torture? Is he trying to lose the battle for the hearts and minds?

Tommorow...We can all see what a real President looks like......leading...building...reaching out....trying to make peace...even as we are at war......That's leadership.....that's a decision point.

Oh and what the hell is Oprah doing putting Bush on her show.......giving him time to sell this Decision Point bullshit to the American People?
I have never criticized Oprah. I think she's a good person, but this is irresponsible. Big Darkness Cometh, Oprah, you bet! You've ripped a discredited writer a new asshole....and now you give us a fluff peice on an admitted war criminal?
Oh, I forgot...when the president does it it is not a crime.....right?

Look all this is tough on me...because I foresaw the Bush initiated trainwreck in Afghanistan-Pakistan and Iraq...WELL BEFORE 90% OF YOU PEOPLE EVER DID according to opinion polls.....
I was against the Afghanistan War..
I was against the Iraq War
The insurgencies that came after vindicated my position
Now most of you people are all against the wars that you helped start.....
And I'm having to tell you people again, why you're all wrong!
But with former leadership like this spouting off at the mouth....winning the wars are all that much harder.....

Bush's admission of consulting with Olmert over bombing Syria....that he considered it....demonstrates real madness, that he told the American people and the world this.....that is unimaginable fucking stupidity. National secrets, are you kidding me? Will someone try his ass for treason before he screws up our strategic position any further?

MY FELLOW COUNTRYMEN AND WOMEN....YOU ARE LETTING A DICTATORIAL MADMAN WALK!

I'm not all that familiar with internet chat-room newspeak.
By *LIKE* do you mean....you like what I said....or are you asking for specifics?
In case you mean the latter.....
The realist tradition is abhorrent to starting unnecessary war......
Real realists are selfishly anti-war..
Offensive realism (what I refer to as fake realism, or imperialism)...is nothing more than Marxism-in reverse... a power grab for the bourgeoisie.

Robert Gates is a real realist...Bush's father was something of a realist...notice that we didn't go all the way to Baghdad in '90? realism....

Of course, I don't always agree with the realists.....but there are times when they are welcome in EPK's thought process....namely, when the shit hits the fan..and the liberal ideal must be compromised for the sake of survival....times like these.

Currently....the imperialists want to spread the war
the realists want to limit it to just the terrorists....meaning a smaller footprint in the AF-Pak War.....
While Obama is trying to break out of the box...closing in. What the realists don't realize....is that America cannot operate as a small police force when there is complete chaos.....Limiting the AF-Pak war is not possible.....And winning it out right may not be possible.....
But leaving without forcing the Taliban to some concessions at the peace table....is unimaginable.
We need to embrace our enemies with an olive branch in one hand and a gun in the other....
Bush AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE put defeat on the table....I counseled otherwise. Now the American people want out of Afghanistan.....guess what? THERE ARE NO EASY WAYS OUT OF A LIVE FUCKING WAR!

The Transcendant One, Bobby "THE CROW" Obama will make us winners again.
