Colorado has it shares of far right candidates but probably none as bad as Tom Tancredo, candidate for governor of Colorado.  Here's what he said in his words on YouTube:

The greatest threat to the United States today, the greatest threat to our liberty, the greatest threat to the Constitution of the United States, the greatest threat to our way of life, everything we believe in, the greatest threat to the country that was put together by the Founding Fathers is the guy that is in the White House today. -- Tom Tancredo

It is false rhetoric like this mimicing Newt Gingrich that is splitting Americans and stoking racial hatred. Yet Tom Tancredo is trailing his Democratic opponent in the polls by only single digits.  We could conceivably elect him as our governor.  If that happens, well I'll have to move from Colorado.

Don't move Frank!  Bunker...hole up....hide...but don't leave Colorado, man.  Colorado is my 2nd favorite state in the Union,...it needs proper Democrats, in good times and bad!

Yeah, Kaboom, we love Colorado and it is worth fighting for...to keep it out of the hands of racist bigots like Tom Tancredo. Right now we are in Estes Park for some elk viewing. I can hear them bugling from our hotel. This morning we plan to get high...that is we'll be driving the Trail Ridge road above 12,000 ft in Rocky Mountain National Park for some of the most spectacular views in America. In reinforces my spirit to get out in nature and also knowing that our national parks are there for all Americans to enjoy. But if the trends toward corporate fascism go unchecked, I can visualize the day in my lifetime that our national parks will be turned over to corporations for profit. Fees will be hiked so high that they will become the playgrounds for only the rich.

You have made some other mind provoking statements in your other postings. I'll give them some thought today when I'm high and respond tomorrow when we are back home.
