Sharron Angle challenged Harry Reid to a debate on journalist Jon Ralston's "Face to Face" program: "What I would like to see is Harry Reid come into this studio with you and I and have a true debate."
Harry Reid accepted.
A debate was set for Oct. 21.
Then an Angle spokesman called Ralston to cancel. Angle's explanation, offered in a radio interview Tuesday: "We've always been very clear that we didn't want to debate after early voting started because we wanted an informed electorate."
Huh??

Translation: The debate is rigged, biased, and not what the founders envisioned.
And Sharron Angle would be right.....the founders did not envision an all encompassing democracy. The debate and vote should be held in the Nevada state legislature.
What is with all these Republican female whack-jobs? Are misinformed, nasty, fearful women voters the only ones who made it to the polls? And Angle and O'Donnel only add to the slate of kooks across the country lining up against the Democrats in the fall. Maybe our pollsters are right. Maybe the sky is not falling. But my relationship with Democratic pollsters is similar to my relationship with the Pentagon, I trust them about as far as I can throw them. I will never forgive them for the 2004 election, when they gave me so much hope, only to watch it all go down the drain miserably. Clutching the TV in disbelief of the disparity between early exit polling and the reality of what was unfolding that afternoon, my tears ended up serving as the liquid material used along with my t-shirt to clean the screen-glass. It was an awful disaster, and I pray such a day never happens again, but it's foolish to think that we, as American voters, are all playing by the same rules, up-stairs, if you know what I mean.
