Pro-Gun Democrats Growing!

Since around 1987, yes that longer ago, Democrats have started switching to pro-gun sentiments. It all started because they were losing key races to republicans; since then the NRA has spent a lot money backing democrats who carry these beliefs.

As Jon Delano, an independent political analyst associated with Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh says, “I think there’s been a change in the country as a whole, unless you’re from an urban area, where gun violence is so intense that there’s a feeling you need to control these weapons, the vast majority across the country do not support gun control.’’

Go check out the NRA site, where you can see the numbers for yourselves. Gun ownership is in and growing. All the others are just holding space.

Gun ownership in America is indeed growing, but not as a result of any legitimate concerns about one's safety. In fact the rise is a direct result of an orchestrated campaign by the right wing Gun Owners of America and the National Rifle Association to stoke fear amongst the populace that "Obama was going to take your guns away."

So besides the NRA and the GOA who or what else is behind this movement? According to the WSJ, gun manufacturers and dealers driving, "fear and greed."

And it sure helps to have a black President as a focus point to help stoke that fear...and drive up profits. Of course Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck do their parts.

Follow the money.

Mr. Speaker, ...the NRA can kiss the President's Black Ass.

This line of attack really, really, gets me upset considering...he signed-off on allowing concealed weapons at National Parks.....and he has flat out said he believes the 2nd amendment is an individual right.....boldly going were no Big City Liberal has gone before. They should be cheering the President! but oh no....they'd rather believe the propoganda machine and that the N-word President is after them..... we are truly witnessing the Joseph Gobbelization of our politics. Strange times, indeed.
