The latest in a series of reports stating that climate scientists at east anglia did not mislead the public about climate change should be news. Why isn't it?

If I had to guess, I would say there are 2 big reasons this has stayed out of the news.
1. Hearing that someone did not mess up is not nearly as attention grabbing as hearing that someone has decieved you.
2. If this news doesn't appeal to the target audience its easy for news channels to push it aside.
