I'm interested in seeing how Rand Paul plans on paying for this level of patrol and security along 7500 miles worth of border. I understand that weak border security can be exploited by terrorists and such, but I have not seen any reasonable solution to this. Rand Paul's plan seems absolutely ludicrous and is probably just being used to garner support of the tea party. I see no practical way to implement this plan.

The underground electric fence plan is one of the stupidest ideas that Rand Paul has come up with. No one on his staff is able to explain how it would work. Maybe he's watched too many science fiction movies.

The Tea Party folks that suck this stuff up are even more ignorant. However, it plays well with his base...which says something about his base.

And I thought Sarah Palin was stupid. Wow.
