Do you think that some of the hostility that the census takers are being meet with is a result of the of the anti-census campaign that was helped along by Glenn Beck and his ilk? I know that some of the crimes that occurred could be normal criminal activity in seedy neighborhoods, but the reports of census takers being chased away with guns is what I'm concerned about.

According to this report, the number of forms that were returned incomplete is less than 1%.... so, that campaign seems to of been a pretty big fail.....

It doesn't account, however, for the stupidity level of those 1%.....they could very well believe in the campaign enough to become violent on it's behalf....

I gave the nice census lady all the information she was looking for.... She was sweet, and only lived a couple blocks down from me. I couldn't imagine wanting to attack her for doing her job.

I get more annoyed when people show up at my door telling me that their imaginary friends exist....
