Fox News must want Obama to fail

Reference: Media Matters: Fox News: "Voice of Opposition" on health care reform, Feb 26, 2010

Media Matters has done a commendable job as usual documenting all the falsehoods put out by Fox News pundits, reporters and hosts. For anyone that doubts the accusations against Fox News, they only need to refer to this segment on Media Matters.

In particular, Media Matters highlights the Fox News campaign to defeat health care reform. While there may be legitimate points to debate, Fox News doesn't even care about them instead resorting to a steady stream of lies and distortions, day after day after day.

I looked at each of these issues and challenge any Fox News viewer to find any inaccuracies in the Media Matters reporting. The question that continually eludes me is how so many supposedly educated people watching Fox News cannot see through all the lies and distortions. I suppose they live in a bubble and believe what they want to believe.

Fox News is owned by the News Corp, which itself is owned by Australian born Rupert Murdoch and numerous stockholders, including the Saudi Royal family, the largest stockholder besides the Murdoch family. I think they are anti-American, and they indeed want Obama to fail. And why? Because they put their own selfish interests and those of the Republican Party ahead of those of the country.

Fox News is entitled to do that as their rights are protected by the Constitution. But a news organization they are not.
