For anyone needing to catch up on John Ensign's affair with the wife of his Chief of Staff, and his unethical missteps to cover up the affair, you can read this long informative article in the New York Times:

The question that should be in everyone's mind is why is this guy still a US Senator? Why hasn't he been impeached? Ensign's trangressions go well beyond just screwing the wife of his Chief of Staff.
