Senator Richard Burr (R-NC), either through ignorance or "promoting bank failure" asked his wife to "draw out everything it will let you take" from the banks ATM machines...and I want you to tomorrow, and I want you to go Sunday." Then he boasted about his actions to the Hendersonville Times News.

So one has to ask the question.  Does Burr not recognize that his deposits are insured by the FDIC?  Or by revealinhg his actions to the news media, was he hoping others would follow his course of action and make a run on the banks, promoting failure?

In either case, it doesn't reflect well on a member of our Congress. How un-American can you get?
