Like the dinosaurs, Rex Tillerson's job as Secretary of State has become extinct.

Since his inauguration, 19 members of Trump’s inner circle have either resigned or been fired. So far, only one Cabinet member has been fired, but Tom Price, former HHS Secretary, was forced to resign in September of 2017 due to criticism of his extensive use of taxpayer-funded -paid charter flights

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2018/02/28/white-house-departures-whos-been-fired-and-who-resigned/382984002/

Apparently Scott Pruitt (EPA Secretary) and Ryan Zinke (Interior Secretary) weren’t paying attention, since Pruitt still flies first class , and Zinke still flies on chartered flights.

Tillerson’s departure really should not be a surprise, since he called Trump a f***ing moron at a Pentagon meeting last July, and he almost resigned after the Trump’s unhinged speech at the Boy Scout Jamboree last summer.

Tillerson had reached the point of considering resignation after months of foreign policy disputes with Trump, specifically on Iran and Qatar. It reportedly took personal interventions from Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis, and then-Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly to get Tillerson to reconsider.

If you have been paying attention, former Eli Lilly executive Alex Azar is the second individual to serve as Trump’s HHS Secretary. Despite the fact that Eli Lilly and 2 other drug companies were sued for price fixing in January of 2017, he is now charged with making sure that drug companies don’t overcharge for their drugs.

Since musical chairs is a popular game in the White House Mike CIA director Mike Pompeo will become Secretary of State, and Gina Haspel will become the new director of the CIA. She is the current deputy director of the CIA, and has been with the organization since 1985.

You could've titled your thread "YOU'RE FIRED!" Then we'd have at least two.

Tillerson was ill suited for the position he was appointed to, for one, he had no political experience whatsoever, the only experience he had which might have been relevant for a secretary of state position was his friendship with Putin and possibly Russian diplomats. Other than that, he was useless as tits on a boar hog. But most of Trump's cabinet appointees were just that, ill suited and useless for the business at hand, which is running the country like a country, not like a business.

Was Tillerson escorted out without his jacket like McEntee?

Is there the assumed non disclosure agreement ?

    The stories he could tell.

    From bad to worse.

The great thing about public service is that Donald can't force his cabinet officials (or any public servant) to sign non disclosure agreements, so Rex will be free to talk all he wants. Whether he does or not will be up to him.

Also Tillerson was fired in a tweet a few hours before he got the official phone call.

Personality types like trump, are notorious for firing people in ways that are intended to be humiliating. It is is akin to firing someone before they arrive to work, to find they are not allowed in the building by security, and all their personal belongings are put into a dumpster at the back of the building. And no one is permitted to speak the fired employee.

The point is to communicate to everyone else who remains: "Fuck with me, and I'll make sure you're fucked when you leave"

Rumors are the Kelley is about to be fired, or he will resign over the trump blood bath to clean house of anyone not 110% loyal to him: "Donald Trump".

Trump is emotionally insecure and needs to perceive himself as top Alpha male, and no doubt he is hypersensitive to anyone that has a level of self-confidence that can't be turned off or dominated.

I guess Donnie didn’t have the “best people” in his administration. One assumes that the definition of best people is people who are completely and utterly loyal to Donnie. While Tillerson was incompetent as Secretary of State he wasn’t stupid and his lack of loyalty to Donnie meant he had to go. Tillerson almost ruined the State Department by not filling positions which is something Donnie has done. The Republican goal of destruction of government has been shown to be dangerous as well as idiotic.

Twilight Zone synopsis, Imagine this if you will:

you're sitting next to your buddy at lunch in a nice restaurant outside of the place you're both employed at. your buddy is dinking around on his smart phone, he goes to read tweets, whaaaaaat? he exclaims! you look over at him with a mouthful of American fries and go, what is it? your buddy says our boss just fired you and retweeted your firing to everyone in the plant. Other workers who are in the restaurant dining react too.

It's a sad state of affairs when a boss doesn't have the guts to see you face to face to deliver the bad news, he has to tell the fucking world to embarrass you while firing you, what an asshole.

Since Trump has promised to hire "the best people, it's important to note that the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights has asked federal prosecutors in Germany to issue an arrest warrant for Gina Haspel, his pick to lead the CIA. Today's article in the New York Times goes into more detail, but don't be surprised if her tenure is very abbreviated, due to her active role in the "enhanced interrogation methods" used by the CIA in Thailand>

Don't be too alarmed at who Trump appoints, especially if they approve of torture to garner a confession, most republicans approve of that tactic.

Hitler hired the same types; Trump's picks are more like people who are against "norms" of normal civilized countries.

Trump probably communicates with people like Steve Bannon on an hourly basis. Most people don't know but Trump once aligned himself with democrats, I wonder if he was faking or if he was a dem at one time, what made him go hard right?
