Assuming Mueller gets too close to trump's inner circle with indictments, do you think trump will use his presidential powers and have Mueller fired and halt all further investigation into anything related trump? Even if that means he has to fire people who refuse or issue orders that require others to break the law.

It is easy to imagine trump saying something that is nebulousness where he can't pinned down:

"I was informed that Mueller acted improperly, so I had to fire him. I had no other choice. It is out of my hands. "

Technically Donald can't fire Mueller. He could fire Rod Rosenstein and then go through every Deputy AG until he finds one who is willing to fire Mueller, but I'm just not sure he's ready to start a Constitutional crisis. Congressional Republicans would be in an extremely tough spot, but they have also stood behind their man up until now, so maybe they would give Donald yet another pass.

I have been proven wrong many times before with Donald, so nothing will surprise me anymore.

Look at it this way, he fired Comey, fired Flynn, and if he fires Mueller, it would make it look like he really does have something to hide, which he probably does. Why else would he be sending tweets trying to degrade the FBI and other investigative and security agencies, if he doesn't?

As I understand it, Mueller has crossed Trump's red line when Mueller subpoenaed the Trump family financial records of an offshore bank. reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-deutsc...

Mueller's on the right track, following the money trail.

...and we can see him saying or tweeting: "I didn't fire anybody, the DOJ fired Mueller. Total fake news"

As with everyone else; a significant factor as to why his party is afraid to openly denounce him, he could do something that will end their political careers and cripple the party. He loves keeping people unbalanced\unsure\afraid\concerned.

Or he's just clinically insane and his only go to is making people feel unbalanced/unsure/afraid/concerned!

I think Congressional Republicans are scared of him because they realize they are the people who created this monster by demonizing President Obama for eight years. They didn't push back against Donald when he pushed the birther conspiracy for years and now they are reaping what they sewed.

My most sincere hope is that while his base is faithful and loud. They are anything but representatives of this country. Elections in '18 and '20 will continue to show a deep pool of genuine dissatisfaction.

Mr. Mueller is rarely discussed by our President. Perhaps too many are afraid to ask hard poignant questions for fear of presidential name calling. Could we seriously make it any easier ? Mr. Mueller should be fine. If he's not, hopefully somebody is videotaping it all on their smart phones or other recording devices.
