What have you read, or heard, that is good insight into trump?

    Example.

Chris Jansing (MSNBC): Those who understand trump, even those closest too him, know the best way to communicate with trump is through the media (on especially on TV). If its in the media, trump pays attention.

Yes, but he uses social media (Twitter) to get into the mainstream media. From this Newsmax article:

“Tweeting is like a typewriter,” Trump told [Fox Business host] Bartiromo. “When I put it out, you put it immediately on your show. I mean the other day, I put something out, two seconds later I am watching your show.”

“When somebody says something about me, I am able to go bing, bing, bing and I take care of it,” the president said.

Trump said he felt that he was especially well-suited for Twitter and social media in general.

“You know they are well-crafted,” he said, referring to his tweets. “I was always good student. I am like a person that does well with that kind of thing. And I doubt I would be here if weren’t for social media, to be honest with you. Because there is a fake media out there, I get treated very unfairly by the media.”

“You have to keep people interested also,” Trump explained. “You know, you have to keep people interested.”

Which is one more reason twitter should remove Trump's twitter account. He uses it to denigrate other people, and uses it to govern (bans LGBT from serving in the military)

He has never used his twitter account for anything positive. never.

Tom Friman- When trump wants to insult someone it can be subtle, but exposes how deep seeded his animosity\hate is towards specific people or groups.

Example "That Congressman" = "That bitch" = "That cunt" = "That whore"

If he had wanted to convey respect it would have been "The congresswomen Wilson..." not "That Congressman..."

Tom Brokaw (MSNBC): Trumps lights a match, and 100 democrats race to pore gas on it, then both sides point fingers as they watch the building burn down.

trump: not my fault I didn't even light a match. The democrats set the building on fire for no reason

Democrats: We came to put the fire out after he pore gas on everything and set the building on fire

    trump: did not

    Democrats: did to

    trump: did not

    Democrats: did to

    ... Meanwhile nothing get done.

trump: I am going to do want I want to do, say what I want to say. If its not constitutional, people get hurt, or breaks every rule in the book.... it is your fault for not having the guts to stop me. If you to lay down, you bet I am going to run over you like a truck.

That's a concise accurate explanation. Ultimately a handful of dirty little details will further explain his actions. "What ? Not my guy."

Trump only cares about himself and his own public image. He will ruthlessly tear others down to enhance his own image. He is a narcissist and lacks empathy for others. His lack of empathy is hard to hide...hence such things as phones calls to spouses of fallen heroes come across as artificial and crass to those on the receiving end.

He cannot help himself. He believes his own lies, and repeats them over and over again to reinforce those lies psychologically in his own mind. He is a master con artist who has conned himself.

For almost a year America's Orwellian World of Silly (America's mass news media) has been obsessing on those imaginary, deluded claims about Russian interference in the 2016 election since not one shred of evidence has been produced to prove the Russians were able to effect that election one way or another.

It would make far more sense for those Republicans in the U.S. Congress to investigate their own parties criminal activities corrupting America's election systems that have been proven and documented in volumes for decades such as removing 10's of thousands from the voter rolls, creating unconstitutional barriers to voting, gerrymandering, rigged voting machines, and closing down thousands of polling places in minority districts and why have these Republican criminal activities not been prosecuted? because America's legal systems have become as corrupt as the Republican Party.

trump is like a NFL team having coach with a guaranteed 4 year contract that specifically states he makes all the decisions, hires all the coaching staff, and designs\calls all the plays. The team loses every game, but during the game and after, he tweets insults about the owners, the coaching staff, and all players claiming that everyone is at fault except him. He hates football, but loves the title of being an NFL coach. What he truly loves above all else is being the focus of the media attention. Fans watch each game just too read his tweets live during the game like this: "The team QB 'liddle' Dick Smith is a moron, a complete loser, and he has small hands, and you know what that means; my 10 yo son has bigger hands, maybe I should make him the starting QB. "

The owners want to dump him ASAP, but his contracts guarantes him 4 years barring for a few extreme exceptions (Health and criminal activity). The owners can see that he will destroy the francies in 4 years, and it will take them 10+ years an billions to rebuild what he destroyed. Over 1oo0 times what he got paid.

Bottomline, the owners fucked up because they were the ones who assumed they could take a bad minor league baseball coach with a loosing record, who had no football experience, and give him a contract to coach their NFL team, a contract that ties their hand from getting rid of him.

A spin on the classic saying: "Who is dumber, the bad coach who can't win a game, or the dumb owners who hired him and give him a iron clad contract that allows him complete control over every aspect of the team, a contract that the owners can't get out of?"

Yes Connie; if you pump in billions via "super PAC's etc into elections and add what you wrote, then no wonder it becomes an con-artist Trump world. Congratulations America; the religious "mob" reigns; ask the 17 year old who wants an abortion, but is not allowed to get it.

There's plenty evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 election. Are you like Donald and call it all fake news?

I thought you were a progressive, Connie. The progressives I know believe in facts and reason, not anger and conspiracy theories.

So what do you suggest we do? Try to get more Bernie or buster candidates to hijack the Democratic Party primary process and make it so it's impossible for centrist Democrats to win in purple states?

I get it. You're pissed. But your anger is bonkers. You have never once put forth a rational idea that will put Democrats back in power. All you've done is post a bunch of conspiracy theory posts insisting there's some secret cabal pulling all the strings.

As a former social worker, I encourage you to get some professional help. I don't mean that in a negative way because I actually believe in the power of therapy.

    Please, anything but that.

I have my own way of therapy, I change the television channel, but not to FOX.

I force myself to watch Fox "News" for an hour or so a day because I think it's important to understand what the vast majority of Republicans see and hear.

The Fox "News" bubble is a very real thing. When Republicans say "what Russia scandal?" it's because they literally aren't aware there's even an investigation into Donald's dealings with Russia. The same goes with countless other topics.

So if you want insights into Donald then take a xanax (just joking) and watch Fox "News" for an hour or so. An hour is a good amount of time because they basically just repeat the same garbage every hour, but just have different faces repeating it.

Fox "News" viewers live in a different reality than us. True things are fake and fake things are true.
