Federal Grand Juries are far different than State Grand Juries.

The vast majority of police brutality criminal cases are handled by a State Grand Jury, but Federal Grand Juries and the Federal Courts have been far more open to holding dirty cops accountable financially. The problem is that the taxpayers of those localities are the ones left to pay the victims of the dirty cops.

Grand Juries will "indict a ham sandwich" if the prosecutor wants them to. This means the prosecutor has a massive amount of power when it comes to indictments.

Bob Mueller wouldn't impanel a Grand Jury if he wasn't convinced that he had something. We won't know what he thinks he has until (or unless) the Grand Jury votes to indict someone. If they vote "no" then we may never know what he thinks he has, but I have a hard time believing that he will impanel a Grand Jury if he didn't think he had a slam-dunk case.

Agree. He wouldn't impanel to prove innocence.

There is no guarantee that a Mueller indictment will involve Trump or anyone currently working in government. However, I put the chance at over 85% that Trump will directly connected. Imagine someone from his inner circle having already testified: "Trump knew everything, and approved it all", Mueller then would need to prove it. Someone saying it would not be enough.

If we see Trump (and his attorneys) relax a bit it terms of direct actions to shut down Mueller, then Trump has found out through FBI leaks that Mueller is going after someone else that Trump could careless about. However, for political drama, Trump may still tweet how the Russia investigation is fake news because he knows Mueller is chasing after someone else, thus Trump can later brag to the high heavens with "See I told you so that russia story has always been fake news, and of course I'm always right. See how right I was, it's amazing how right I am all the time, that is why I am President because I am right, and Hillary Clinton was wrong, and Obama was wrong, and the democrats are wrong. Maybe they should investigated, I could tell you some very horrible stuff about all of them that would lock them up for a 1000 years, but I talk about that later".

A grand jury can indict a ham sandwich, but will it be found guilty in a court of law? probably not.

I read Trump is sending private messages to Mr. Mueller because he wants to tell him that he's doing a good job. Kinda a feel good moment. My thought was attempting to be manipulative.

In Trump's press conference today he backed off his attacked on Mueller, saying he had no interest in firing Mueller.

Given his calm tone and lack BS, it would seem that Trump has been assured by people from FBI that Mueller's investigation is not focused on Trump or anyone within his inner circle (ie his family).

Got to wonder if the insiders, those who are really in control, are starting to figure out how to handle Trump, much like parents figuring out how to keep their 2 year old distracted so he is not having temper tantrums every few minutes. "Over here Donald, come see what just happen on 'The real House Wives of New York'"

Forget it; he plays the same game as with Comey; he was awful nice to Comey and just about kissed him; then he put the knife in his back. The same with anyone which he targets. Also he's going for 3 days back into Trump Tower; I bet to destroy evidence via the schredder etc. Since they raided Manafort's place; he thinks he's next.

I find it interesting he's returning for meetings. Meetings with whom and for what? Surely it's not national security, he's already locked and loaded with the military.

Everywhere he goes costs taxpayers many millions of dollars, when will Americans get fed up with his entourage?

"The city spent an estimated $24 million to protect Trump Tower from Election Day through Inauguration Day, police commissioner James O'Neill wrote in a February letter to Congress."
