Like the site too, but please don't chase off opposing conservative views especially when radical\extremist liberals are permitted to state their extreme, sometimes militant view point.

They work hard to disrupt any logical discussion they attack people attack computers they are not interested in discussion. These corporations are fascists and the hire people to attack the internet to disrupt the flow of information. I would not be a poster on a board that permits right wing nut jobs in. Let them live in their alternate reality. Let them sulk in their sportsman's clubs and their evangelical churches. Let them be isolated from society.
I will respectfully disagree.
There are very clear rules that conservative and right leaning people must adhere to on this site and if they don't follow them then their account will either be frozen or blocked entirely. There is a big difference between a center-right conservative who disagrees with liberals on philosophical grounds and a right-wing troll who only wants to cause trouble.
The center-right conservative is welcome to participate in vigorous debate so long as they follow the rules while the right-wing troll will be frozen out the second a moderator is made aware of them.

However 96% want to tell us how they have it all figured out and they want to then tell us what to think and how to live so we can be just like them. No open minded conservative parties yet. Fox news mindless souls is all we get.
That's why 96% of them have had their accounts frozen or blocked entirely. But we shouldn't freeze out the 4% of conservatives who want to engage in a cordial debate within our community rules.
Debate was one of my favorite classes in high school and college. We should welcome people who come to this site that disagree with us. Group think and ideological purity is a dangerous thing no matter your political leaning. Maybe it's because my entire family (seriously, entire family) is conservative, but I enjoy a spirited debate with someone without questioning their motives or patriotism.
My best friend and best man at my wedding last year is a "never Trump" Republican. He and I have had some awesome debates about policy and politics and force each other to do more than just repeat the talking points of each side. I love him as much as I do my parents even if we disagree on many things. That's because a person's political philosophy isn't the only thing that defines them.
I'm only telling this story because I think it's reflective of a bigger issue that's going on in our country. If we only spend our time talking to people who agree with 100% of everything we say then nothing will ever get accomplished and no one will be happy.

There is a lot to be said for "keeping my friends close but keep my enemies closer". Focusing on the positives of an enemy also exposes their weakness. Additionally if there are no problems or deviations control is lost. The thread about insecurity is a wake-up call for introspection. All the energy used to attack Trump is wasted and symptomises insecurity. It could even be suspected that a very secure person furnishes a gullible enemy tantalizing opportunities to attack and waste time and reresources. 18 months of attacking should be a lesson..

I'd take issue with calling people who disagree with us "the enemy." I don't consider the vast majority of my family the enemy, nor do I consider my conservative friends the enemy.
Enemy is a very charged word and should only be used when appropriate. People who have opposing political philosophies are not enemies; they simply have different views than you and I.
