Right now an lot of issues hit the fan. ACA; how will that end?, Muslim "ban" how will that end? The "budget" how will that end. The "wall" how will that end? The "military" waste bucket (his 54 billion) how will that end? The "wiretapping" how will that end? Al his non-filled positions in the government, how will that end? The wrong guys/and "lady" in positions what they hate or are totally unqualified for , how will that end? The "Russia"inquiry? How will that end? etc. etc

I have the answer: Total "chaos"

    And This morning Trump tweeted:

"122 vicious prisoners, released by the Obama Administration from Gitmo, have returned to the battlefield. Just another terrible decision!"

Fact Check: Of 122 gitmo detainees, 113 were release before Obama took office.

Prediction: The chaos will continue to get worse by Trump's own efforts, and Trump will not survive it. He will be forced out office by joint effort between republicans and democrats. Neither party wants to spend 4 years of escalating tweet crap forcing them to resp0nd. He is taunting both parties akin to taking out his dick and pissing on everyone, and then expecting republicans to back him up as they wipe his piss off their face and smile.

A dream come true for the Republicans. They get to penalize poor people. In their plan to replace Obama care are tax credits and penalties. Obama should have not put the penalty phase in the ACA. The very first things I heard on the news about the Republican repeal plan to replace the ACA was credits and penalties. What is the reasoning behind that. If people can't afford insurance they either get help or penalised. How far will the Republicans go in penalizing the poor? Since a Democratic President set the precedent for penalizing the poor there is no telling how far the Republicans will go.

Chet, quite simple. Their "new" plan will give "tax credits" or "vouchers". Now let's look at an "unemployed" person in the "rust belt" or an other crazy "belt". This person likely does not pay any taxes at all, so what good are "tax credits"?. Then he gets an "liver" transplant because of drinking too much beer, costing an fortune; doctor here is my "voucher" of $20.- does that cover that?? What an total joke; of course the "rich" they don't care, but this poor guy may as well start digging his own grave, because he voted Republican. Yes they got what they wanted!!! So don't complain.

Good point. What good does it to have a tax break when a person does not make enough money to files tax. Doesn't sound like a good deal for those who can't affoard to pay much for medical insurence. Might work well for those working fulltime and making 80K per year.

I'm not sure how this is going to look, we'll know soon. If it brings premiums DOWN, benefits UP and takes away the mandatory requirement that everyone purchase insurance, I think those 3 are keys for success.

More problems lie in cost of medication and competition between providers. Obamacare muddied everything with enormous costs .... but that was known and it was passed anyway. They knew it would cause hard working American's to pay out the nose and they did it anyway.

I hope the GOP has something here, if not, I'll call it a failure right along with everyone else

Health costs rose at a far lower rate for the five years after Obamacare was passed compared to the five years before Obamacare was passed.

A 2016 Kaiser Family Foundation study - the go-to for healthcare numbers - showed us that healthcare premiums have been increasing at historically low levels:

"This year’s low family premium increase is similar to last year’s (4%) and reflects a significant slowdown over the past 15 years. Since 2011, average family premiums have increased 20 percent, more slowly than the previous five years (31% increase from 2006 and 2011) and more slowly than the five years before that (63% from 2001 to 2006).

We’re seeing premiums rising at historically slow rates, which helps workers and employers alike, but it’s made possible in part by the more rapid rise in the deductibles workers must pay.” - KFF President and CEO Drew Altman.

Facts - pesky things that are true regardless if you believe them or not.

Well I can tell you for a fact mine tripled in cost, my deductible went to $3900 with a max $8900 and coverage isn't as good for co-pays, prescription medications etc and I work for a large wireless company and all of us were affected the same.

so pesky fact? there are your facts - same job, same dependents, but my company had to restructure everything because in large part Obamacare and the cost was to me. Now the 10 million getting free stuff? I guess that's great for them, but the reality is, someone pays for it and that someone is the people working

I would link for you a dozen articles explaining it - but they would quickly be deleted. use the google - type in " has Obamacare made healthcare more expensive " ....and go from there.

its gone boys and girls - Trump blew it the hell up like he said he was going to. Now ... will the next 4 years be good for it or bad for it ? that's to be seen but again, I can't imagine it being worse for me.

They would be deleted if you post right wing tabloid garbage as your "source". Post something that isn't right wing tabloid garbage and it won't be deleted.

Do you understand the difference between right wing tabloids and actual peer reviewed sources? Here's a suggestion - do more than "Google" something.

Um. No, it isn't and no, he didn't.

Four *Republican* Senators have already come forward and said the House bill is dead on arrival in the Senate.

I don't know if you actually understand how a bill becomes a law. Here's a cartoon shown to school children that explains it for you:

Pridiction: Trump will tweet more attacks on Obama, including raising the issue that Obama was born outside the US. He'll tweet something like this "Obama was an illegitimate president. I've proof that Obama was born in Kena. That means Obama is an illegal alien and should be deported like the rest of them"

What he is doing is leveraging his base racial hatred toward Obama to generate political support.

Like talk\hate radio, Trump knows that what he tweets doesn't have to be true, the only thing that is important is too feed his base to maximize his ratings (Think of TV ratings). Without his base, Trump looses everything, just like a TV show, if his base demographic erodes, so does his power as president. His base hates Obama, so Trump wants to leverage that hatred into further political power.

The reality is health care costs what it costs. High costs can either be addressed by single payer or killing off high cost patients that can't subsidize there own expenses. The republicans and conservativecat are opting for killing off the high cost patients. No other way to say it.

Chet; as I've said multiple times; an "healthy" country cost less for the insurance The strange way as also Jared says; this is an unhealthy country. Live expectancy is low here compared to other civilized countries. Why? guess which area's are the most unhealthy here? As well the eating, drinking, smoking, drug use habits, non clean water and air what they all do to people in this country.

Just visit the Walmart and you die laughing if you see all the huge fat asses and lots of "invalids" racing in carts down the aisle.

Then we have places like Miami where they are champions in ripping off "Medicare" etc. by "double" billing etc.

My experience in Europe/Canada is that the culture and education helps to keep people "healthy" with lower cost for the "insurance" . Also if you have an "balance" related to income in an society as in an"socialistic"country as Bernie promotes things will become "healthier". If you as an country have your "priorities" on the wrong things like military/wars as well only pity the "billionaires" of course then there is no money for decent "healthcare".

The economics of this country are "corrupt"; it is pure "capitalistic" only "money" counts "health" is not important.

Prediction: If Trump is continues to struggle to make progress on his campaign promises\agenda, he'll go to war some where in the world.

Wars unites people against an outside enemy, and make a president more powerful in the short term. During the honey moon period of preparing for war, and then the invasion (first 30 days), presidents get nearly everything they want. It is the honey moon period that Trump would push through domestic issues because elected officials don't want to challenge a President preparing to go to war.

Trump will use the War option if no progress is made on his agenda within the next few months. Since Trump has no problem making false statements, he'll makes statements like "North Korea is planning to invade South Korea, so I'm declaring war on North Korea and China".

And, he'll go to war without hesitation if there's a bombing anywhere in the US. It won't matter as to the facts of who\where\how the bombing occured, the bombing event will be used to launch a war else where in the world.

Right now Tillerson being in South East Asia; stated that "military intervention" will be an option. Thus I don't hope that they will be that stupid here. I guess they forget China kind of is the "neighbor" of N. Korea, thus may get upset and involved; sure then we will have WWIII. But with an "mental" person as Trump you never know what he will "tweet" to start such.

Prediction: A person who's poor will have Medicaid taken from their family. A loved one will subsequently die which will cause anger and frustration. This will lead to a nefarious act against POTUS. 99.99999 % of the time secret service stops the attempt. That is a valid prediction. Many will understand the action. Once secret service shoots them the unneeded death toll rises.
