The Democratic Establishment in Washington DC is making little effort to keep their young activists active when they refused to select Keith Ellison for DNC and by the way "Who the hell is Tom Perez?!"

He was a wildly popular Secretary of Labor who fought for workers rights the past four years.

Maybe Bernie supporters should read up on his priorities and achievements before concluding that he's a corporate robber baron or fascist dictator in the waiting.

It doesn't take but a few minutes to do rudimentary research on Perez and Ellison. I don't see much difference between the two in terms of qualifications...or on the other hand, purity.

I thought Ellison could have been very good. The 3rd grade mentality of Fox news has (along with the president) labeled all Muslims as bad so getting anyone to think like an adult might have made him Poison to 40% of the country. I think in time he may surprise many.

But a friend of a friend of a friend told me that our former Labor Secretary who fought for workers rights and the common man was in fact a terrible human being whose sole purpose in life was to hijack the Democratic Party and usher in a new world order of corporate robber barons and fascist dictatorship.

I know very little bit about the guy, but I saw him interviewed on a couple of the Sunday morning politics news shows, and he was saying the some old thing "We are party of the American people", "We are going to stand up to Trump", etc, etc. I just felt I was hearing the same old thing, with that same political tone that is typical of politics in general.

It's a bit like watching a TV series that follows a formula, and you can quote what's going to be said before the actors say their lines, and\or predict the final outcome 1-2 minutes into show with 58 minutes remaining.

You are not the party of the American people until you represent them. Try winning something other than the participation trophy before making any claims. As long as we are perennial minorities we are under acheiving and adrift. That's my opinion so underwhelmed is my position. Maybe a couple of days with Habitat for humanity where he breaks a sweat might help.
